• Nose: Fresh and lifted red-fruit nose that is savoury rather than sweet. Notes of raw meat and crushed black pepper. 
• Mouth: Energetic, supple palate with crushed red fruit and saline, minerally notes on the finish. Fine grainy tannins complement the whole. Long and juicy, this wine shows what a high level can be reached in the Colli Senesi.

The Sangiovese grapes for this Chianti Riserva come from a south-facing vineyard. The harvest time for Sangiovese begins at the end of September. During the manual harvest of the grapes, a particularly careful selection of the perfect grapes takes place. Fermentation begins spontaneously with the yeast on the grapes in a large concrete vat. It lasts 30 days at a maximum temperature of 30 ° C. The maturation of the wine, including malolactic fermentation, takes place in 1.000 liter casks made from chestnut wood.
