The wine Bodega Concejo Carredueñas Roble is a very good organic red wine. It is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes. It was matured and refined in French oak barrels for 4 months. Hence the name Roble, (oak in Spanish).

Organic wine - profile

• Colour: intense, dark red
• Nose: powerful aromas of fresh blackberries and raspberries typical of the Tempranillo grape variety. There is also a fine touch of roasted aromas, which can be traced back to the aging of this organic wine in toasted oak barrels.
• Mouth: full-bodied, very smooth, very pleasant, with structure and delicately sweet tannins and a dry, long aftertaste.
• Drinking recommendation: at 14-16° C it is a pleasant accompaniment to food, but it is also great fun on its own.

Bodega Consejo is blessed with vineyards whose soils have a high lime content of 35%. This is comparable to Saint Emilion or Pomerol, where it is well known that very high-quality grapes thrive, resulting in very good wines.

The Tempranillo vine also feels very comfortable on such soils, which you can see, smell and taste when tasting the Carredueñas Roble.
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented for a relatively short time. Before bottling, this red organic wine receives the finishing touches in French oak barrels (Roble) for 4 months.
