The Merlot grape had its origin in France. Its worldwide distribution has earned it its great popularity with wine drinkers. Since a few years she is also admitted to quality wines in Rheinhessen. The Weingut Sander Merlot is a strong red organic wine that brings everything that is typical of this grape variety.

In this Merlot you can feel the clear handwriting of the winegrower Stefan Sander, who confidently brings out and emphasizes the characteristics of every grape variety. From grapes harvested by hand, stalks and panicles are removed from the mash and slowly fermented. The biological acid degradation and the maturation of the wine takes place in barriques that have already been used several times.
