that's how it seems when you consider the external conditions that La Célestière has. Ten hectares of vineyards over 100 years old in the heart of the prestigious Châteauneuf du Pape appellation, as well as several hectares of vineyards in the Côtes du Rhône Appellation and in the Vaucluse IGT region.

However, the building in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, along with its winery facilities, was in dire need of renovation. It was renovated and upgraded by the previous owners, including the winemaking equipment, before being acquired by Mr. Latouche, who already owns the Domaine des Terres Blanches, the Domaine de la Vallongue in the Les Baux de Provence appellation, and Château La Genéstière in Tavel.

The harvest quantities in Châteauneuf-du-Pape are extremely low at 20 to 25 hl/hectare, but this is what determines the quality of the wines. The maturation of the wines in large wooden barrels is combined with concrete barrels of different shapes and sizes. This gives the wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes-du-Rhône and Vaucluse IGT power, roundness and freshness.
