Château de Monségur, Bordeaux organic wine

In the heart of the Bordeaux wine-growing aeria lies the Entre-Deux-Mers region and the Château Monségur (second name of the Château Grand Ferrand) embedded in a landscape of rolling hills and valleys with a relatively fertile soil of loamy and silty earth.

This so-called strong land is hard to work and yet the locals cling to it and love it, even when the soil sticks in thick clumps when wet on their shoes and farm machinery and makes work in the vineyards more difficult.

It is the same in the vineyards of Château Monségur, where the vines have long been cultivated organically and thrive harmoniously until the grapes are ripe and harvested in autumn. The grapes are processed with great care during temperature-controlled maceration and fermentation in a typical Bordelaise manner, which leads to elegant, powerful, classy, classic Bordeaux organic biodynamic wines.
