Pago de Tharsys, organic wine, organic Cava sparkling wine, Utiel Requena

The Pago de Tharsys winery is nestled in the middle of twelve hectares of organic vineyards, where optimal conditions prevail to produce the best grapes of which excellent organic wines are created. In addition, when the daytime temperatures are too hot, they also harvest the grapes at night, as you can see in the photo above on the left.

The Pago de Tharsys winery produces its wines under the appellations "Vino de Pago", D.O. and Utiel-Requena D.O. and Cava Pago DO. Among the cultivated varieties, Bobal is the autochthonous variety of the region and the flagship of the winery. Pago de Tharsys is also widely recognized as one of the best producers of cava. In fact, winery owner Vicente Garcia is considered “the godfather of Valencian cava.

Grape Varieties:

Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Bobal, Tempranillo, Garnacha, Chardonnay, Albariño and Bronx (berries with light bronze skin and white juice).
