A family business with tradition in which the Tinta de Toro grape variety, a relative of the Tempranillo grape, plays the main role. Its advantages can also be seen and tasted in the wine Bodegas Piedra, Toro D.O.Auroch, which matured for 10 months in barriques and refined in the process. It is deep dark, very fruity and has a strong body.

Organic wine - profile

Colour: intense cherry red, very clear and brilliant.
Nose: ripe red fruits on light toasted notes.
Mouth: fruity, berry, balanced, soft tannins, noble wood and vanilla tones with a long aromatic finish.
Drinking recommendation: at 16 to 18° C, it is a pleasant accompaniment to food (e.g. game and meat dishes), but it is also pure fun.

Ecological management and development. Manual and careful selection of the grapes in 20 kg boxes in the second half of September. The wine macerates on the skins for 10 days in 15,000 liter stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. He is moved several times. The malolactic fermentation then takes place in wooden barrels from French. oak instead. The wine then matures for a further 10 months in oak barrels, approx. 75% in French and approx. 25% in American oak. a light filtration takes place before bottling.
