• Color: deep, dark purple color
• Nose and mouth: Very complex aromas of black and red berries, dark chocolate and spicy notes, ripe, velvety tannins. Very balanced, intense in scent and taste with a long finish.
• Serving recommendation: at 15 to 18 °C, goes well with spicy cheeses, dark meat, well-seasoned dishes.

Biodynamic wine - production, Domaine Ortola, LUNES, Languedoc AOP, red

Winemaking, like the cultivation of the vines and the care of the vineyard, takes place in compliance with the principles of biodynamics. The grapes are harvested manually, maceration and fermentation with grape yeasts take 3 weeks at a controlled temperature. During this phase, the mash is gently pumped around a few times to extract all the colors and flavors from the berry skins. This fully fermented red wine matures in concrete tanks until bottling the following year.
