This Casina di Cornia Rosso Toscano IGT was made from three typical Tuscan grape varieties. Therefore, this red wine could almost be called Chianti. But for that to happen it would have had to mature in the barrel for longer

• Nose: floral and fruity scents with spicy notes
• Palate: rich aromas of ripe fruit, very full-bodied with round tannins, wonderfully structured. Very long lasting finale. The result of a good vintage and very careful winemaking.

To offer a lighter, fruity wine for all occasions, this Rosso Toscano is a cuvée of three typical Tuscan grape varieties. Before fermentation, the grapes macerated at a low temperature; fermentation only lasted 6 to 10 days. The fruity components of the grapes were extracted, but comparatively little tannin was extracted, which makes the wine appear less intense in taste.
