This La Baratta TAI, is a white wine made the regional grape Tocai Friulano that provide a simple, but good, light white organic wine that is unadulterated to drink with large groups of friends or small celebrations.

Wines made from the Tocai Friulano grape variety should not be confused with a Hungarian Tokaj. It is an autochthonous grape variety in Friuli, as well as in eastern Veneto. It was simply called Tocai there and according to EU rules its name is only Friulano today.

The grapes are harvested mechanically or manually, depending on the location of the vineyards and the quality of the grapes. The grapes macerate briefly in the mash at a low temperature. This is followed by pressing, then fermentation in stainless steel tanks and finally this white organic wine is filtered and filled into bag in box as required.
