Organic wine - profile

• Colour: light lemon yellow with greenish reflections
• Nose: fresh apples and citrus fruit in the scent
• Mouth: typical Riesling on the palate with aromas of fresh apples and citrus fruits. The fine, lively acidity is buffered with some residual sugar. Overall, this Riesling is very pleasant and harmonious.

The Sander winery in Mettenheim was one of the very first organic wine estates in Germany. The grapes for this Riesling wine come from a vineyard with loess soils on limestone in the subsoil. The grapes are harvested automatically. Then the berries are separated from the panicles and fermented immediately in a stainless steel tank. This Riesling wine is bottled just a few months after the harvest.
