Organic wine profile:

The Sander winery in Mettenheim was one of the first organic wineries in Germany. It has vineyards in hilly areas with loess soils, but also in the Rhine plain with sandy soils. Today the wine estate is working in the third generation organically and it is a member of Naturland for organic production for many years.
Silvaner is a local grape variety that is also grown in Alsace and produces fresh, fruity and spicy white wines. Harvest mechanically, the cold maceration of 18 hours is followed at 20 ° and matured on its yeast deposit.
