Stefan Sander is open to new trends in winemaking, even if they go back to old Roman practices, such as the aging of organic wine in amphorae, which allow wine to mature particularly well due to their shape and material. This also applies to the Weingut Sander Chardonnay "Amphora" which delights with its complexity.

The organic wine profile

• Color: Light golden yellow, clear and pure.
• Nose: The fruity aromas of yellow and white stone fruits and their seeds or stones are noticeable and are accompanied by salty-mineral notes and the scent of cool clay.
• Palate: initially very fine on the palate, quickly becoming more intense and complex. Unusual, but absolutely harmonious, elegant with character and a long aftertaste.
• Recommendation: Please serve at approx. 10° C in a large goblet that you otherwise use for a good red wine, let it breathe or even decant it - it's worth it..
