Gewuerztraminer is one of the most aromatic grape varieties. Wines of this variety are not easy to combine with food. But the trend towards exotic dishes, which often contain sweet fruits, also opens up an opportunity for the Weingut Sander Gewuerztraminer wine to present itself as a table wine.

Organic wine - profile

• Color: Sparkling, medium golden yellow with delicate highlights on the edge of the glass.
• Nose: Elegant, fruity character of apricot, melon and pear interwoven with subtle spice notes, rose petals and a hint of ginger, delicately scented and never intrusive
• Mouth : The stimulating aroma also on the tongue, refreshing structure and delicately spicy aftertaste.
• Drinking recommendation: Serve it at 9-10° C. It is a perfect aperitif and accompaniment to fruity and subtly exotic dishes.

Vinification du vin bio Weingut Sander, Silvaner, AbA, Old vine, white

There are only small plots north of Mettenheim that were planted with Gewürztraminer vines in 1996. They stand on trellises on which they grow with one or two vines. The grapes are harvested by hand, macerated in the mash for 24 hours, then gently pressed and spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tanks.
