The Deneufbourgs grow the Muscat petit grain vines on a sun-drenched ridge
swept by the Tramontane - an intermittent, violent wind that drives moisture out
of the vineyard and protects the grapes from fungal diseases.

This charming white organic wine Domaine Deneufbourg Muscat de Rivesaltes
AOP is made from these grapes, a naturally sweet dessert wine with which a
festive meal could end well.

For this naturally sweet wine, the grapes of the Muscat Petit Grain variety (the small berry Muscat vine) are harvested by hand and optimally ripe and high in sugar, and fermented in the classic way until fermentation comes to a standstill due to the resulting high sugar content. At this point the wine has a natural alcohol content of 14%. To further stabilize this wine, 1% pure alcohol is added.
