The Demeter organic wine from Domaine du Joncier, Lirac AOP, REGARD consists of an atypical cuvée which exceptionally is not dominated by the Grenache variety, but the Syrah grape variety sets the tone.

Biodynamic wine - profile  

• Color: very deep, almost black, dense ruby red
• Nose: wild black berries, black cherries and a hint of leather and garrigue.
• Taste: Powerful, with fresh and concentrated aromas of black cherries, wild berries, overwhelming on the palate, yet elegant and fine with ripe, fine and very well structured tannins.

Biodynamic wine - vinification, Domaine du Joncier, Lirac AOP, ICI, red

the manually harvested grapes are macerated for several weeks in the mash, i.e. the juice and the berry skins, and spontaneously fermented without l use of cultured yeasts. Depending on the grape variety, aging in concrete vats lasts up to 18 months, during which the typical, seductive ripe aromas develop.
