The Deneufbourgs cultivate the Muscat petit grain vines on a sun-drenched mountain ridge, over which the Tramontan sweeps - a periodic, violent wind that drags moisture out of the vineyard, thus preserving the grapes from fungal diseases. • Nose: intense fruity bouquet of white flowers, rose petals, notes of apricot and exotic fruits.

Corinne and Damien Deneufbourg started winegrowing in Roussillon in 2009, just as their Marselan plots yielded the first vintage. Until then, Corinne's parents delivered their grapes to the local cooperative.

In addition to Marselan vines, Syrah and Muscat petit grain vines thrive on a rippling plateau in Roussillon southwest of Perpignan. Grape vines benefit here from extensive sun exposure and frequent blowing cool winds (Tramontan), which is very helpful in 2 ways. If it rains during the summer months, which does not happen often, it dries the grapes and grapes very quickly, which prevents mold and fungus.
On the other hand, it promotes the fruity and fresh components of the grapes. So that these characteristics are not lost during the grape harvest, it starts in the morning at a cool temperature at 5 o'clock and ends at 10 o'clock at the latest.

Incidentally, with a yield of only 20 hl / hectare, the price of this white organic wine is extremely low!

The grapes are freed from stems and panicles in the cellar and pressed. After a cold maceration in which a pre-clarification of the juice takes place, the must fermentates slowly at 15 to 16 ° C. During several months of maturing in a stainless steel tank, a filtering and then bottling takes place.
