The Quinta da Caldeirinha Estorniho (Star, Vogel) is an interesting and complex cuvée made from six grape varieties that are very harmonize well with each other.

Organic wine - profile

• Color: dark garnet color
• Nose: Scents and aromas of red and black berries
• Mouth: a cuvée of six grape varieties can offer complex aromas and flavor components and convey a very harmonious and pleasant drinking experience. The aging and refinement in barriques adds other interesting aromas reminiscent of toast, coffee and cocoa.

Organic wine production Beira Interior DOP

The vines thrive on steep terraced slopes on slate and sandstone soil in the Douro National Park, which is part of the Beira Interior wine-growing region and the Regiao de Castelo Rodrigo sub-region. The climate there is dry continental with Mediterranean microclimatic influences. The harvest is carried out by hand. To avoid damaging the grapes on the way to further processing, they are collected in small crates and transported to the winery for further processing. There the berries are separated from the panicles. The fermentation of the grape juice takes place within the whole berries, which means that only a few bitter substances get into the wine. The young red wine then matures for nine months in French oak barriques.
