The result makes him proud and satisfied; it motivates him to try again next year, because the Lorcher Krone location is one of the best in the region.

Organic wine profile

• Colour: brilliant, delicate golden color in the glass
• Nose: fruity scents of apricot, star fruit, gooseberry, delicate notes of citrus fruits, Honey and a touch of chamomile.
• Mouth: dense and complex on the palate, with all the aromas that come with the nose were perceived, there are also mineral notes such as flint, which give the wine structure. With a long-lasting taste.
• Drinking recommendation: with fine seafood, fish, white meat or just enjoy it without further ado . Serving temperature 9-11° C.

Organic wine - production at the Mohr winery, Lorcher Krone, Riesling Großes Gewaechs (grand cru)

The vineyard location "Lorcher Krone" was classified as a Großes Gewaechs, called a Grand Cru in France. This makes it one of the best locations in the Lorch region. It is worthwhile for every winemaker to care for the vineyard and the vines with care to produce the best wines from the grapes.

Here the vines grow on loess-rich soil that is hidden under the gray slate. The grapes here are a little richer and more aromatic than on poorer soils. They are harvested by hand and macerate for a long time at a cool temperature so that all the aromas can be extracted from the grape skins. Fermentation with the grapes' own yeasts begins spontaneously. After fermentation, half of the wine matures in stainless steel tanks and half in oak barrels.
