We work with organic wineries run by families who make a living from their work.
They are very different, interesting people with depth, some very idiosyncratic, shaped by experience, environmentally conscious and responsible.
They all love what they do. They plant vines where the soil is best suited for it, and they look after it and the vines year after year, taking into account the expected weather influences. They accept setbacks and crop losses due to frost, hail and storms. They continue their work in the cellar, here too without disturbing the natural process of production. They do not remove anything from the wine and do not add anything other than a small dose of SO2, including nothing that is otherwise permitted in organic winemaking. All of our organic wines are bottled by the winemakers in their wineries, with their own labels that contain the name of the winery and address. The organic wineries/organic winemakers thus assume full responsibility for the bottle contents and avoid manipulation by third parties.
In doing so, they respect their employees' needs for a healthy workplace, pay a fair wage and ensure a pleasant working environment in which better organic wines can be produced that meet the expectations of conscious wine drinkers for pure, tasty organic wine and biodynamic wine.
These organic wineries are managed sustainably by their owners and family members with craftsmanship, great experience, love and pride. To do this, they need fair trading partners who pay fair prices for their organic wines.
