Château Rocher Bellevue, Bordeaux

The vineyards of Château Rocher Bellevue have the great advantage of natural drainage and sufficient exposure to the sun through the wine-growing areas slightly inclined to the south and south-west. This enables the production of concentrated, tannic, aromatic wines. In this location, constant winds blow, which create a healthy climate for the vines and thus facilitate organic viticulture.

The organic wines of the Château Rocher Bellevue have the typical character of sublime and elegant Bordeaux wines that combine tradition with modern viticulture methods and winemaking techniques.

Château Rocher Bellevue produces classy, powerful and elegant Côtes-de-Bordeaux wines. The vines that provide the grapes for this organic wine have a size of 19 hectares, located in the commune of Saint-Magne-de-Castillon with loamy-calcareous soils and in the commune of Saint-Genès-de-Castillon with loamy soils. These two very different terroirs produce organic wines with a unique character: the vines on the slopes produce powerful and structured wines, those at the foot of the hills are fresh, smooth and aromatic organic wines.

From the top of their limestone peaks covered with stony gravel, the hilly landscapes of the Côtes de Bordeaux offer the vines ideal sunshine. The climate, moderated by the proximity of the river, and the south/south-west sloping soils guarantee the harvest of healthy and ripe grapes every year.
