Poggio Ridente

Poggio Ridente (the smiling hill) is the name of a winery on 491 m alltitude at the edge of the village of Coconato in Piedmont.

Immediately below the winery is a spacious slope on which Barbera, Bonarda and Albarossa vines thrive on almost almost snow-white calcareous soil. Because of its friendly appearance and climatically advantageous terms it is called Poggio Ridente. All time and care is dedicated to this vineyard to finally harvest the best and healthiest grapes for excellent organic wines at the end of each summer.

As you can see here, we obtain our organic wines from winemakers whose vineyards are largely isolated from outside influences in an ecologically healthy environment. Only there can pure organic wines be made
