Organic wines vegan

Proteins, be they of animal or vegetable origin, are permitted in conventional as well as in organic winemaking to make it easier to filter wine. This can be gelatin made from animal bones or fish, chicken egg white, or protein, for example from peas. For organic wine, only fresh chicken protein from organic chickens or vegetable protein may be used as animal protein. Producers of Demeter biodynamic wine are not allowed to use chicken egg white.

Our indication vegan is based either on the statements of our winegrowers that their organic wine and biodynamic wine or natural wine have not been treated with protein of animal origin or on the sending of a corresponding certificate.
