Like all wines, rosé organic wine in Europe is divided into quality levels.

• The hierarchy begins with the earlier name table wine which was preceded by the country of origin. Today it is just wine followed by the country of origin.

• The second quality level is the country wine, vin de Pays, abbreviated IGP, IGT. The choice of grape varieties is up to the growers, no harvest quantity limit. The indication of the regional origin is required

• Quality wine, QbA Germany, AOC, AC, AOP France, DOC, DOCG Italy, DO, DOP Spain and Portugal.

• In addition, there are single vineyard wines and other predicate wines, e.g. Late harvest.
