Weingut Sander

The Sander organic winery in Mettenheim north of Worms was one of the first organic wineries in Germany and can rightly be called a pioneer.

In the meantime, Stefan Sander, who completed part of his training in South Africa, is the third generation to run this environmental and quality-oriented organic winery. In the beginning it was anything but a trend to start organic viticulture without chemicals, but simply a different definition of responsibility and quality with regard to our environment and the health of wine connoisseurs.

The vineyards consist of sandy soils in the Rhine plain and loess-containing soils in the hilly terrain with the top locations "Schlossberg" and "Michelberg". They are planted with local and international grape varieties.

Today, ecological or organic viticulture, as practiced by the Sanders, is no longer on the sidelines, but is viewed by all experts as promoting quality. And when it comes to the quality of their organic wines, the Sanders don't have to hide, as numerous awards prove.

To ensure that the organic wines from the Weingut Sander reach you in the most environmentally friendly way possible, we have decided to avoid the detour via our warehouse. Instead of first having them sent to our warehouse on pallets, the organic wines are now packed in shipping boxes by the Weingut Sander and sent directly to you on our behalf.

Please order in total at least 6 individual bottles or 6 bottles of one variety at Weingut Sander, or multiples thereof, i.e. 12, 18,  etc.. Shipping costs are € 14.60 to € 18.70 per order and address depending on the destination.
