La Mancha is the largest wine region in Spain, producing around 100 million liters of wine each year.
The vineyards are located on a plateau in 500 to 700 m altitude. The climate is continental, very cold in winter, hot and dry in summer. Thanks to these climatic conditions, fungal diseases of the vine rarely occur. Organic winegrowing can be run with less risk here than in wine growing regions with more humidity.
The often very large contiguous and flat vineyards can mostly be processed inexpensively with machines.
For this reason, our organic wines from La Mancha have a very good price / quality ratio.
