The poor slate soils and the smallest harvest quantities are quality-determining factors that naturally affect the quality of the Priorat organic wines can be felt in the red wines in the organic wine tasting package PRIORATGerman. The grape varieties traditionally cultivated here are Mourvedre, Carignan and Grenache, which produce full-bodied red wines with Mediterranean characteristics. The wines are usually aged in large wooden barrels or in barriques, but always in such a way that the fruity, grape-specific scent and taste of the grape varieties and the mineral components are in the foreground.
