To offer and sell German organic wines as mail order companies on the Internet makes little sense, as we had to recognize in several attempts.

With a few exceptions, German organic wines are traditionally offered and sold by the wineries at low prices in conventional ways, but also on the Internet. As a result, these wineries have little leeway to offer retailers discounts that allow them to sell their wines at the same prices as the wineries do. A 20 to 35% discount is not enough to break even and make a reasonable profit.

Since we have been working together with the Sander winery in Mettenheim, one of the organic wine pioneers in Germany for more than 35 years, we were able to find a way to continue this cooperation. This also applies to the Abril winery in Baden, and shortly also to the Mohr winery in the Rheingau.

Our customers receive their wines either directly from us or directly from the wineries on our behalf. This solution also makes sense from a logistical and ecological point of view, as there is no need to transport it from the wineries to our warehouse.
